MYM - THE BRONX
MYM believes that youth and families deserve to be believed in and encouraged toward lives of purpose. MYM partners with local volunteers, churches, and non profits to provide the resources needed to break physical, relational and spiritual poverty.
THE JOHNSON FAMILY HOME
We want to be right in the middle of our mission field and so our home will be a safe place for those who are hurting to come and feel loved. We believe that our mission starts right here building relationships in the very neighborhood we live in, loving families and individual’s right where they are, helping meet needs and connecting them to the local church. We also plan to have bi-monthly care groups in our home to fellowship with our neighbors over food and studying the bible together, praying with them and supporting them through the pressures they are dealing with in their lives.
QUARTERLY OUTREACH EVENTS
We want our neighbors to laugh and smile so we plan to do quarterly outreach events such as block parties and VBS/Back yard bible clubs where kids and families can participate in games, crafts, food and fun, all with the purpose of building and strengthening these relationships.
